With big players like Windows and Linux already dominating the operating systems in net-books, Apple is all set to launch their system. There is news that Apple would be releasing their genre of net-books by the end of 2009. Even though net-books have been traditionally restricted to the low-cost miniaturized notebooks there is speculation over the interest of Apple in this market. Initially Apple had officially denied interest in this league, but there are whispers about the company working on sub-notebook categories. An Apple net-book, if it is launched would create some serious competition with its series of highly advanced and efficient technical gadgets.
